How do I use the Plan Academy Community Forums?

First, you’ll want to access the Community. It will always be found on the navigation menu at the top of Plan Academy’s Site when you are logged in.

Click on Community and it will open a new screen and ask you to log in again. Use your Plan Academy credentials. The first time you access the community, you will be asked to introduce yourself on our “Say Hello” page. There you can write a quick summary of your skills, interests and anything else you want to share. And then you’re in! You can check out the Project Controls Q & A page for general tips, tricks and questions and browse the Learning Library to watch all our past live sessions.

There are also pages dedicated to each course we offer. For example: P6 Foundations, Power BI, etc. Here, you’ll find some discussions that were started about workshops or any related questions. You can also reply to existing topics if you have anything to add or any follow up questions. If you have a question about your course, this is the place to post it. First, check to see if anyone else has already asked it by using the search bar. If not, then select the orange “New Post” button in the top right. Be sure to list the section number that you’re working on and add any relevant screenshots to get the best possible answer.

Plan Academy Subject Matter Experts (SME) check in throughout the day Monday-Friday to see if there are any new questions and help out learners. SMEs are not typically working over the weekends, so please be patient and they will get to your question on Monday. We strongly encourage all learners to contribute. If you see a question about Workshop 1 and you’re already on Workshop 2, please offer your insights 😊

If you have a general question or comment that isn’t directly related to the course, you can post it in Project Controls Q & A. Plan Academy will also post announcements about upcoming events, courses, and more on the Share page

You can set your settings to receive as many or little notifications as you like by clicking your profile image in the very top right and selecting “Notifications”.
